The Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL) has announced the winners of the 2025/26 MVP Award, as voted by the coaches:
Eastern U17 Prep: Mario Lapenna
Lapenna finished second in the division with 30 goals and 65 assists. The Montreal, QC forward added 13 points in 5 playoffs games as LCC won their first ever CSSHL East Championship
Eastern U18 Prep: Luca Stasi
The Blainville-Boisbriand Armada draft pick led the division with 28 goals while his 49 points were second most. Among skaters with at least 15 games played, Stasi’s 2.23 PTS/GP were a division best.
Female U18 Prep: Alida Korte
The Ohio State University commit finished seventh in league scoring with 48 points in 26 games. Korte added 9 points in 5 playoff games as she won her third straight CSSHL Female U18 Prep Western Championship.
U15: Jax Fellner
A forward from Ceylon, SK, Fellner finished his first CSSHL season with 25 goals and 32 assists in 36 games as RHA Winnipeg finished the regular season as the one seed.
U15 Prep: Parker McMillan
A potential first overall pick at the 2026 WHL Draft, the Semiahmoo, BC forward led the U15 Prep division with 3.64 PTS/GP. His 41 goals, and 91 points were second most among all skaters, while his 50 assists were third. McMillan’s 147 career U15 Prep points are a CSSHL record.
U17: Nathan Marques
A 2010 born forward from Penticton, BC, Marques finished second in league scoring with 73 points in 34 games. Marques added 11 points in 5 playoff games as OHA won their second straight CSSHL West Championship.
U17 Prep: Evan Lynch
Lynch, a Calgary, AB product, led his team while finishing second in the league in goals (24) and points (56). His 32 assists ranked third in the league, also pacing Edge skaters.
U18 Prep: Logan Lepinski
Lepinski led all defensemen and his entire team with 33 assists and 40 points in in 29 games. Having recorded 52 points in 70 career U18 Prep games.
